Teamwork

Our team is made up of accountants, investigators, economists, technology specialists, ex-law enforcement professionals and regulators. We help our clients take immediate and decisive action to prevent, detect and respond to potentially contentious or harmful situations, such as fraud or commercial disputes. We have to use deep investigative skills to get to the heart of the issue, and it is essential that we show determination and sensitivity to our clients.

My job

As an assistant, I carry out the majority of the detailed analysis work that forms part of an investigation. It is my job to provide support to managers, help draft reports, analyse company ledgers, interview staff and review e-mails. There can be lot of pressure when deadlines are looming, but I’ve learned not to be concerned when faced with a new task – I’ve discovered it is quite amazing what you can do when you are under pressure.

Travel and intrigue

I’m happy that my job offers plenty of opportunity for international travel. It is also quite exciting turning up to an office with a cover story knowing that you are really going to be carrying out an investigation!
