Who or what has been the biggest influence on your career?

The colleagues I’ve worked with have been a huge influence on my career. I started at the firm as a graduate and, 23 years later, I’m still here. I worked for one person for 17 years and I’ve been lucky to have been surrounded by exceptionally intelligent, talented colleagues throughout. We continually learn from each other through discussion and debate.

In my role as a fund manager I look at fascinating and constantly changing subjects like politics, economics and corporate developments and talk with bright people about the implications of the news. It’s enjoyable work, and you never stop learning.
