So many of my projects have been memorable for different reasons that it is difficult to choose just one project.

On the Sun Microsystems Thames Valley Consolidation Project at Guillemont Park in Camberley I acted as the principal client interface and lead building services engineer from inception all the way through to handover. The project was a success in so many ways, but my defining memory is of the team spirit of everyone involved. The camaraderie ran through the client’s team, the design team, the contractors and all the subcontractors. Everyone worked very closely together to achieve the end result.

Top tip

Watch and learn from those around you, gain practical knowledge in your chosen field and never be frightened to push yourself or ask for guidance.
