Some large scale organisations rely on many short-term contracts from an international labour pool, for example, and will therefore offer help in the guise of a relocation officer. This is a very rewarding role if you like helping people settle in and find their feet in a company, county and/or country. But don't feel too sore when they forget about all your help a couple of months down the line.
A CIPD qualification in HR will stand you in good stead, as will a strong degree. HR experience would be very useful, but also general management and team leadership skills will display your ability to help and guide others.
