It all started with a Sinclair ZX81, writing games that fitted into 1KB of memory, followed by an abortive attempt to write adventure games for the Sinclair Spectrum. I then found summer work with PA Consulting Group and decided to pursue an IT career.

Tips for graduates

Look for an employer that will give you a broad range of opportunities. Make a personal investment in your career by being adaptable and flexible and you will find yourself getting ever more interesting work. Some employers can seem to work their graduates hard on the promise of future riches. Talk to exgraduates to see if the deal is worth the investment.
