The consulting profession offers great opportunities for career development. Starting out, consulting graduates undergo an intensive training period to get a better feel for the firm and the type of work they do. Once initial training is complete, graduate consultants can expect financial, presentation, project management and leadership training (to name but a few). There are numerous other training and learning opportunities available to consultants, including: MBA study, secondments to another branch or partner firm abroad, mentoring, and sabbaticals.
