Bakers is structured into 12 practice groups: banking, corporate, corporate tax, dispute resolution, employment and employee benefits, EU competition and trade, intellectual property, IT/commercial, pensions, private banking, property and structured capital markets.

The firm has a reputation for high-priced multi-jurisdictional transactions; particular strengths lie in administrative and public law, capital markets, brand management and employment. More recently it has developed notable expertise in IT and telecoms.

High-profile deals include acting for British Airways during the Unite industrial action, and advising L’Oréal on its £6m takeover of The Body Shop.
