I have a degree from Sussex University in International Relations (Graduated in 2008) and I am currently in a para-legal position as a researcher. On paper international relations, law and investment banking may not logically sit together! But research is a strong theme on my CV. I have narrowed down my interest to 5 areas of work within the industry that sound most appealing to me:
Corporate Banking
Investment Banking - Graduate Analyst
Markets - Research
Risk Management and Control
Structured Finance
I am living in London so would prefer to stay in the city to visit graduate events. I would be grateful if you could suggest any as I am not aware of those that are available in London. Also which areas do you think would be best for me given my (brief) description of previous experience/qualifications.
Many thanks for your time!
Kind regards,
Richard
