Question from uktous, number of answers so far: 1
the file name of a CV
Hi, should I include the job title of position that I apply for in the name of my CV? For example, "Uktous' CV for the application of a graduate trainee position". Or we should keep the name of my CV as short as possible? For example, "Uktous's CV". If I provide the name of the position that I apply for in the name of my CV, employers will understand which position I apply for once they look at my CV. Thanks

Hi - the best way to think about these kinds of questions is to think 'How can I make my CV stand out from possibly hundreds of others right from the start of the recruitment process?' One way to do this is, as you say, to give your CV a sensible title, such as your name, and if you have space to include the job you're applying for as well. If you don't have space, just make sure to include your name. Hope this helps. Best wishes, Olivia @ targetjobs.co.uk
