Q. What do you enjoy about working in a multicultural work environment?
Working in a multicultural environment gives you the opportunity to meet different kinds of people and share experiences with them. It opens your mind and gives you a chance to think and appreciate things in another way – it gives you the chance to grow. You become enriched through personal and professional exchanges and very often strong links and friendships are created outside of the work environment. These relationships give you the opportunity to discover other cultures and increase your knowledge of different countries. This is very important as it can mean that misunderstandings due to a lack of cultural knowledge can be avoided. I would recommend spending time working abroad as you come back with a different approach to professional and personal relationships.
