I was attracted to my current employer for two reasons:
1) Their literature (e.g website) made very obvious that they valued principles such as integrity and transparency, which were important to me having worked for employers previously who lacked such ideals and were consequently frustrating to work for.
2)I emailed queries I had about the recruitment process (specifically, about my being a mature applicant)to ~10 firms, and only 2 firms (KPMG, and GT) answered my queries in a reasonable timeframe: several large employers did not answer at all.
