We are recruiting 25-30 future trainee solicitors for the firm. We have vacancies in our London office to start in September 2014/ January 2015. We recruit penultimate year law students, final year law and non-law students and graduates. If you join in the January intake you will be offered a scholarship to put towards a life enhancing activity, be this travelling or learning a new language etc.
At Nabarro you will complete six four-month seats during your Training Contract, not the traditional four, exposing you to a broad range of both specialist and core practice areas. It has been developed to give you experience across as wide a variety of work and clients as possible. Your final seat will be spent in the department you are qualifying in - making for a much smoother transition from trainee to associate.
The firm’s areas of work include corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, real estate, dispute resolution, planning, pensions and employment, IP/IT, tax, construction and engineering, projects and environmental law. In addition, there is a chance to undertake a seat in our Brussels office or on secondment to one of our clients.
We ensure you receive excellent support and supervision throughout your training contract and we aim to provide a happy environment where individuals are able to fulfil their potential and ambitions. You will usually be sat with your supervisor, an experienced associate, who will guide you through the seat. We provide high quality work, a good client base and a positive, friendly atmosphere. You will also be allocated a Mentor, a Partner in the firm, who can provide advice on both your development as a lawyer and your progress at Nabarro.
Prior to joining the firm you will be asked to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Kaplan Law School. We work closely with Kaplan to deliver a course that focuses on the key values of the firm and provides first class training before joining. Throughout the Training Contract you will complete the Professional Skills Course and department specific training. This training is designed to enhance your professional development and understanding of contemporary legal issues and procedures. Career development at Nabarro is assisted by a strong learning culture.
