Graduate engineers joining the company would join our IMechE/IET accredited graduate development scheme with a view to obtaining chartered or incorporated status within 3 / 4 years.

You will enjoy a wide ranging and varied training scheme. Working as a member of a multidisciplinary team (which would include other professional engineers),you have an opportunity to contribute to the business straight away. Essential attributes to a graduates success is an enthusiastic attitude and an innovative and enquiring approach to problem solving.

Throughout the graduate scheme, graduates will encounter every phase of the engineering design process and will acquire skills in a number of techniques and computer design tools. The scheme is individually tailored to each graduate, but typically lasts two years and consists of a number of three-monthly placements including design, manufacturing and site work. Throughout this scheme you will be assigned a mentor who will aid and assist you in your career development.

Qualifications & Requirements

Babcock Systems and Equipment is looking for exceptional graduates with a BEng (Hons) Degree or MEng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of a 2.1. This training Scheme is accredited by the IMechE and IET, therefore your degree must be accredited to the relevant institution

Successful applicants will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence secuirty requirements.
