We are an independent body, working on behalf of Parliament and, ultimately taxpayers, to save millions of pounds each year. It’s a big responsibility and our reports often make headline news.

Bring your analytical flair and positive team spirit to us and you could work on an incredible array of subjects – tackling everything from NHS IT initiatives to delays on our rail networks. Put another way, you’ll help us deliver a big agenda that makes a big impact on the nation.

We’re big on training and support too - so you’ll gain plenty of practical experience and enjoy on-the-job training from the start. What’s more, we’re one of the few organisations outside the private sector to offer graduates Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) accountancy training. So you’ll be well prepared to specialise in Financial Audit, Value for Money or both areas when you’re qualified. You could also apply for a short-term secondment to the private or public sector to broaden your horizons even further.

Above all, we’re big on you. If you have at least 300 UCAS points and are heading for a 2:1 or higher in any discipline, we’d love to hear from you. Of course, qualifications are only part of the story.
