What can I expect as a Graduate Sales Consultant?
- An intensive two month induction as part of the RM Graduate Sales Academy.
- Responsibility for managing a sales territory with an annual order value of up to £3 million within your first year.

What’s involved?
As a Graduate Sales consultant you will have the opportunity to own and develop strong relationships with schools, colleges, universities and local authorities, recommending innovative solutions that meet their needs, impressing them with outstanding customer service and working with your field sales colleague to deliver against challenging sales targets.
You will be given the freedom, responsibility and support you need to ensure that you maximise the opportunity across your territory and succeed in a competitive sales environment.
What training will I receive?
The Graduate Sales Academy prides itself on providing you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this challenging and rewarding role:
You will learn sales and business management skills, build a strong knowledge of the RM product portfolio and develop other transferable skills needed to succeed in any line of work. This is done through on and off site training courses, shadowing field account managers and project work including the annual graduate project which you’ll present to the board of directors.

Throughout the early stages of your career you will develop core skills as an internal account manager before focusing on the skills necessary to take on a field account management role.
