Graduate Logistics Planner

Our client is seeking a bright and talented graduate with up to 3 years experience in Supply Chain Planning and/or Logistics, who is seeking a challenging role in which their talents will be recognised and developed.

You will be responsible for contributing towards the effective management of all aspects of the Supply Chain ie inventory levels, replenishment strategies, distribution strategies, product change performance and targeted metric compliance.

Responsibilities

Inventory optimization, effectively balancing finished goods inventory targets, customer service goals, manufacturing capabilities / requirements.
Ensure inventory targets are achieved and maintained, taking into account variability in source of supply, manufacturing, total supply lead times and sales demand.
Plan effectively via periodic batch processes.
Analyze and maintain mid and long range supply requirements
Communication with operations planners as necessary to reconcile and adjust inventory or manufacturing plan requirements in support of production schedulers identified conflicts, constraints, material availability.
Maintain KPI's for supply compliance and inventory levels against established plans / targets.
Prepare and analyze daily and weekly reports / action messages.

Requirements

Expertise in inventory planning, production planning / scheduling
Ability to analyze system relationships, manage multiple priorities and product lines
Effective communications skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and in teams
Preferably with degree or experience within a technical, scientific or medical device environment
Must be proficient in using software, including MS Word and Excel.
