Oxera is an independent economics consultancy with an international reputation for integrity, intellectual rigour and work of the highest quality. With over 25 years of experience and offices in Oxford, Brussels and London, we have grown to over 100 employees speaking 23 languages.

We combine the most rigorous economic thinking and quantitative methods with a practical business approach to advise clients on matters in competition, finance and regulation across numerous sectors, including communications, energy, financial services, transport and water. Our graduate recruitment opportunities

We are recruiting analysts, consultants and interns. Those applying at graduate level should have (or be expecting to achieve) a first-rate degree in economics or a closely related discipline. Post-graduate applicants will normally have a Master’s or Doctorate in economics.

From the moment you join us, you will be offered a variety of training programmes – for example, induction workshops, networking sessions, the Oxera Academy and advanced competition economics courses – which contribute to your personal and professional development. We will do our best to accommodate a member of staff who wishes to pursue further studies. We will consistently encourage you to take early responsibility, to contribute actively and to develop new ideas and approaches.

Each summer Oxera employs students on internships lasting for up to three months. This offers a good way to learn about economics consultancy as a career and to get to know the company. Several previous interns have gone on to work for Oxera full-time; in fact some are now senior managers. There is strong competition for places. A work programme is tailored for each student, taking into account their individual interests and skills and Oxera’s current needs. Each student is managed by an experienced consultant. Internships may also be arranged at other times of the year.
