Graduate opportunities

Graduates are the life blood of our business. We place great emphasis on recruiting the very best and ensuring our graduates receive the finest development in order to continue providing exceptional service to our clients.

Our aim is to provide all graduates with a thorough training programme, that focuses on passing the RICS's APC with the parallel objective of finding how individual skills can be best aligned with the firm's requirements.

Knight Frank offers graduate schemes in both the commercial and residential divisions, within offices across the UK, providing an invaluable experience with opportunities to deal directly with clients and build up industry knowledge.

The majority of our opportunities are based within our Commercial and Residential divisions in our London Head Office. A number of UK graduates may have the opportunity to carry out one of their six month rotations in a European office, such as Paris, Moscow, Madrid or Prague to name a few. Opportunities can also arise to work further afield in China, India or Australia.

A dedicated team of partners and HR professionals support graduates through their APC training programme. Knight Frank’s excellent APC pass rate is testament to this support and assistance.

Every interview is conducted face to face by a fee-earning partner with the objective of finding potential talent that will have hugely successful careers at Knight Frank.

Each year we review our graduate salary and other benefits to ensure our package is at a competitive market rate.

We recruit Graduates on an annual basis through a carefully coordinated programme which culminates with interviews in January each year for graduates to start the following Autumn.

Training and development

To ensure our Graduates pass their APC, we provide them with support during their two year training programme from experienced surveyors who are well versed in the APC process through their roles as Chairman and Assessors in the final assessment process.

Throughout their training period, our Graduates gain good practical experience by undertaking four rotations, each of six months, that expose them to the areas of practice required for successful completion of the APC. These areas include agency, professional, valuation and investment to name a few. This technical experience is combined with a number of training courses designed to improve their personal and interpersonal skills.

Nearer the time of their APC, Knight Frank graduates are given advice on the submissions required as well as focused technical training sessions and mock interviews.

For those joining the scheme in the UK, life at Knight Frank commences with a solid induction to the Firm and Graduate Programme. The induction includes a presentation from the Senior Partner, a tour of the office, IT Training, an explanation of the APC process, as well as a number of technical and practical seminars focused on the key areas.

Graduates are mentored through their APC with supervisors during their rotations, as well as close contact with their Counsellor at regular appraisal review meetings, to monitor their progress in achieving the required competencies.

Application and selection

We require a minimum of 3 B's (or equivalent points) and above at A-Level, a 2:1 degree qualification or predicted degree qualification in a RICS accredited degree and relevant property work experience.
