Careers at Tesco Property come in many different forms, which is just what you'd expect from a successful and varied business like ours. With 470,000 employees worldwide and over 2,500 stores in the UK alone, we can offer the kind of diversity of opportunity that you're unlikely to find anywhere else within the built environment industry.
Architects, Construction Project Managers, Engineers, Acquisition Managers and many more experts in our Property Division work together to create stores that delight customers and staff alike.
The truth is Tesco career paths are just about as wide as our business. And, as one of our future business leaders, we’ll expect you to take every opportunity to broaden your knowledge and progress through the business.
We’re just as committed to our people as we are to our customers which means we’ll give you all the opportunities you need to build a rewarding career with us. The Property graduate programmes offer 12–18 months of structured development and training, and the speed of your progression is down to you. You’ll also have a personal development plan involving hands-on project experience and technical up-skilling supported by a mentor. Whatever programme you choose you’ll have all the training and professional development you need. And with hands-on business experience – not to mention responsibility from day one – you’ll be equipped for all the challenges ahead.
Energy, enthusiasm and passion for our business is what will set you apart, not to mention a combination of people, leadership and analytical skills and the character to succeed in a constantly changing business. You’ll be comfortable proposing and developing fresh ideas, with the ambition to become a senior manager. What’s more, you’ll have, or be expecting, a 2.1 level degree.
