Training programme

Trainee solicitors can develop into top lawyers in any of our mainstream practice groups: corporate, financial services and funds, banking, litigation, real estate, intellectual property, employment, pensions or immigration. At the same time, exposure to the diverse skill sets of PwC will help you hone strong business advisory skills. You’ll also develop lateral thinking skills, gain practical hands-on experience and help deliver creative solutions. Training includes a thorough induction covering our core practice groups, client care and time management skills, IT, research and admin. You’ll take the core and elective modules of the Professional Skills Course (PSC) between your second and fourth seats. A range of electives during your fourth seat to complete the PSC. Extensive internal training to develop business, management and interpersonal skills. Exceptional prospects – throughout your training contract and beyond.

Alternatively, don’t let a decision you made three years ago keep you on a fixed path for the rest of your career. If you’ve decide that a legal career may not be for you, join our Tax practice and the skills you’ve developed during your law degree could take you in any number of different directions. Learn everything one of the UK’s leading tax practices can teach you. Your know-how will help companies and the people who run them decide how to raise finance, where to set up offices, how to reward their people and much more. But you won’t just react to immediate needs. You’ll also use your initiative and industry insight to solve complex, long-term problems. You will need a 2.1 or above in any degree discipline and at least a 300 UCAS tariff or equivalent.
