The essence of the training you will receive at Ince & Co lies in the process of working on cases with partners. We see the development of your caseload through the retention of cases as the essential core of your training and development. There is no better way to learn than by actually doing the work with someone supervising. This is supplemented by more formal aspects such as lecture programmes, precedents, courses and legal updating materials.

Skills, qualifications and personalities sought

We are conscious that high-value commercial work in general, and litigation in particular, is not for the faint hearted. Therefore, we look to recruit ambitious, hard-working individuals who welcome a challenge and relish responsibility within a team environment.

We look for tenacity, initiative and integrity as well as excellent communication skills. In view of this, we generally require at least a 2.1 degree (though not necessarily in law). A high percentage of our trainees are offered contracts on qualification.
