About Imagination

Technology surrounds us. We carry it in our phones, laptops and personal media players; we use it in our offices, homes and cars. For over a decade, Imagination Technologies has been enabling the most innovative and iconic consumer electronics products with its unique, patented semiconductor intellectual property (IP) cores for multimedia and communications.

The group has a highly skilled workforce of over 900 people, of which over 80 per cent are qualified R&D engineers. Our UK headquarters are in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, with R&D centres in Bristol, Chepstow and Leeds as well as in the USA, Poland, India and China. We keep close to our customers and partners worldwide, with sales offices in Japan, the USA, Europe, Korea and Taiwan. PURE also has offices in Australia, China, Germany and the USA.

Our Technology division creates marketleading embedded graphics, video and display acceleration, multi-threaded processing and multi-standard receiver technology. This IP is licensed to a wide range of semiconductor and consumer electronics companies around the world for use in mobile multimedia, handheld multimedia, home electronics, mobile computing, automotive, and emerging markets.

Our Pure division develops consumer products which showcase our IP. PURE produces the world’s most innovative range of digital and internet radios and is the leading supplier of radios in the UK.
