CIPFA, the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, is the professional body for people in public finance.
As the only UK professional accountancy body to specialise in public services, CIPFA’s qualifications are the foundation for a career in public finance.
CIPFA is more than just a professional qualification – it offers attractive and rewarding career options.
On average, the course takes three years to complete and will most commonly be completed while working for a public sector organisation or an organisation working with the public sector.
The course is broken into three stages; Certificate, Diploma and the Final Test of Professional Competence, with each stage awarding a recognised qualification. The course covers the full breadth of professional skills required by organisations to enable you to operate effectively and successfully in today’s demanding world.
The skills gained while studying CIPFA are fully transferable to finance roles in both the public and private sectors.
CIPFA Talent is a new trainee recruitment service giving anyone interested in a role in finance and accountancy access to lots of employers across the UK with just one application. To find out more about CIPFA talent visit: www.cipfa.org.uk/talent.
