The Investment Banking Analyst Programme:

Jefferies are currently recruiting 15 analysts to start in July 2010. All 15 analysts will undergo intensive graduate training before joining their sector, product or country teams in September 2010.

Working for Jefferies you will get early exposure to clients on complex transactions, working alongside and learning from our senior bankers as well as responding to client enquiries and preparing supporting analyses for negotiations. As an analyst in one of our teams you will play an integral role in driving the transaction process forward, managing information to and from clients and at all times managing client expectations throughout the transaction. Requirements

Graduates will have a strong analytical mindset and be highly numerate as well as have a strong financial acumen and understanding. Rigorous eye for detail and excellent communication skills are essential. The preferred candidates will have outstanding modelling and analytical skills.

In a firm where aptitude is rewarded with uncapped responsibility, including client exposure from an early stage, you will need a greater level of maturity than many of your peers. You will have a strong academic background and be expecting at least a 2.1 degree from a leading university. European language skills are not essential but are an advantage.
