Background and reputation
Hazlewoods are an established and progressive top 40 practice with a reputation for innovation and a high quality professional service to clients of every size. Our offices are all within the county of Gloucestershire where the business sector is particularly varied. Our client portfolio mirrors this diversity, and ensures that all our trainees receive a wide ranging training programme. With over 200 staff, Hazlewoods is large enough to provide genuine in-house specialists with industry sector experience, but is also small enough to provide a high level of individual client care.

Training and development
Alongside studying for the Chartered qualification, the practical training offered by the firm is extremely varied and involves challenging and fulfilling work in the areas of Financial Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Management Accounting and Corporate Finance. This practical training is supported by a programme of in-house courses which is designed to ensure that trainees have a level of knowledge and skills which match their ever increasing level of responsibility. We believe our training provides a combination of large firm expertise and small firm attention to the individual.

Prospects for promotion within the firm, and for building a career after qualification, are excellent. Considerable emphasis is placed on the provision of Continuing Professional Education for all qualified staff.

Candidate profile
To apply to Hazlewoods you will need a 2.1 degree and at least 22 UCAS (280 UCAS Tariff) points. We are looking for individuals with excellent team working skills, commercial awareness, self motivation to get things done, a 'can-do' attitude and a real interest in business.
