Our Internship Opportunities

How about an internship salary package of £24,000?

Internships last between 10 and 12 months and involve working on projects alongside our consultants. We won’t create a dummy project for you, we want you to gain real experience and real responsibility. It is important that you are comfortable with the idea of a job that combines a lot of technical content with a high degree of customer interaction. On average the work is about 75% technical and 25% non-technical.

What we deliver is critical to our customers' businesses and our consultants experience a great deal of responsibility at a very early stage in their graduate careers. Our consultants are initially trained in the suite of application software products in which we specialise. They then work on customers' sites anywhere in Europe, and occasionally further afield. The services we provide include :
• Analysis of customer business requirements
• Customisation of packaged application software to fit those requirements
• Development of bespoke software for additional requirements
• Training of end users and of other consultants

Each implementation project has a consulting team which can range in size from 1 to 4 people, and projects generally last from 1 to 6 months.

The Rewards
Placement students earn a salary of £24,000pa and have use of a company car when the job requires it.

The Requirements
To be right for this role you will need:
• Three serious A-Levels at grade A or B
• Expectation of at least a 2:1 degree from high-quality institution in a numerate discipline.
• Our existing consultants include graduates in maths, physics, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, chemical engineering, aeronautical engineering, business studies/management science/operational research.
• Good programming skills, although it is not necessary to have done a huge amount of programming – just enough to know you have a flair for it.
• Good presentation, articulacy and presence for customer and prospect contact
• Enthusiasm, determination and a sense of "mission"
• Self-reliance and willingness to travel during the working week
