Record year expected for strategy consulting firm
Here’s some good news for job-seeking graduates keen to embark on strategy consulting careers: global strategy consulting firm Simon-Kucher & Partners has announced that it expects to have another record year in 2011.
For the first half of the year, the firm’s revenue, almost 58 million euros, was up 20 per cent from the same period in 2010, making January to June 2011 'the best half-year in our history', according to Georg Tacke, the firm’s CEO.
To meet its increasing business demands, Simon-Kucher & Partners has been very active on the recruitment front: so far in 2011, 97 new employees have joined – a further 63 new hires are planned worldwide this year.
The company’s core expertise rests in helping companies to 'receive what they deserve', says Tacke. The findings of its recent largest-ever pricing study revealed that most companies do not achieve market prices in keeping with the value they offer so, explains Tacke, '… it looks as though we’ll have more than enough work to keep us busy in the coming years.'
