A world-leading organisation, we provide consultancy and technology expertise to some of the biggest names in just about every industry you can imagine. Clients come to us to make more of their business opportunities, adapt successfully to change, put ideas into action and gain – or sustain – a competitive edge. With our knowledge of the markets, understanding of the power of technology and ability to shape and implement transformational solutions, we do just that. We work with 4,000 companies and 91 of the Fortune Global 100. As a growing firm we need talented students like you to join us.
Consulting Industrial Placement
On this 12-month scheme, you’ll be immersed in live consulting project work from day one. Intense and rewarding, this programme will allow you to make your mark on a global business, while building connections with talented people across our organisation.
From the beginning, you’ll have a ‘buddy’ who will give you the experienced advice you need, whenever you need it. Then you’ll learn about the project you’ve been assigned to, which could be in any part of our consulting workforce. From here on in, you’ll take on real responsibility – you could be involved in undertaking research, compiling reports, analysing complex information or testing software.
Whatever your day-to-day role, the aim is to give you an insight into what life is like at the sharp end of business and technology evolution. By the end of the scheme, you will come away with some valuable skills – and hopefully an offer to join us when you graduate.
What’s in it for you
As well as the prospect of a great career centred around improving the way the world works and lives, you can look forward to a competitive pro-rata salary and other benefits. These may include generous holiday allowance, an interest-free season ticket loan, subsidised gym membership and a personal laptop. You’ll also be part of a vibrant graduate community with training, support and social events.
What we’re looking for
You’ll currently be studying a technical or business-related degree that offers the option of an industrial placement, and be expecting to receive a minimum 2:1. You’ll also have 340 UCAS points across your top three A-Levels (excluding General Studies). A strong communicator with great organisational skills and a real passion for IT, you’ll want to know more about how technology can make a real difference to business.
Where you’ll work
The programme is based in London, but you will also need to be flexible as you may be put on a project anywhere in the UK. This may mean working away from home Monday to Friday.
