Our Graduate Programmes
We offer a variety of programmes at Accenture, each having a focus on a distinct skillset and different requirements. The one thing they all have in common, is the market-leading training and development opportunities for everyone who joins.
Strategy – A deep strategic thinker, you’ll be a trusted partner to clients, helping them to address their most significant business issues and stay ahead in the digital world. As an Analyst, you could be involved in analysis, primary research, developing business cases or helping to execute transformation agendas across Business/Technology or Functional Strategy. Please note: places on our Strategy Programme are limited and you will need to be able to demonstrate evidence of strategic experience within your application. Successful applicants will also need to have obtained/be predicted a 2.1 Bachelor’s Degree.
Consulting – As an Analyst, you’ll work within a project team to identify market opportunities and transform our clients’ businesses across people, processes and technology. These roles focus on specific industries: Financial Services, Products, Communications, Media and Technology, Health & Public Services and Resources. Not only will this enable you to pursue your passion, but you’ll develop an understanding of the business issues and technologies applicable to each industry, enabling you to grow and play your part in delivering innovative solutions tailored to each client. Successful applicants will need to have obtained/be predicted a 2.1 Bachelor’s Degree.
Analytics – As an Analyst, you will be working as part of our Digital Analytics practice, you’ll gain an understanding of how data and statistical and quantitative analysis, combined with exploratory and predictive models and fact-based management, delivers data-driven business insights. On this programme, there are two main paths you can follow. The first involves delivering complex analytics solutions for our clients, working on big data and becoming familiar with complex databases. The other focuses on producing analytics for internet marketing campaigns. Whichever path you follow, you’ll have the opportunity to move across industries, helping you to grow from being an Analyst to a Consultant. Successful applicants will need to have obtained/be predicted a 2.1 Bachelor’s Degree.
Client Delivery – As an Associate, you’ll work with a client team to deliver business transformation. Accenture sets out the vision for its clients, it’s up to you to make it a reality. This will include designing, building and testing strategic solutions ready for implementation. A key member of the team, you’ll go the extra mile to understand client requirements, formulate a plan of action, and work with a range of onshore and offshore delivery teams to get it done. In close contact with the client at every stage, this role will make the most of your ability to communicate complex technologies, while managing third-party suppliers, timelines and expectations. Successful candidates will need to have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
Software Engineering – As an Associate, you’ll be designing, building and supporting the innovative technical solutions we’re renowned for. As well as understanding what our clients want to achieve, you’ll discover what’s possible within their existing framework and explore the best technologies to achieve the most effective results. Working with onshore and offshore teams, you’ll work on a variety of challenging projects for a range of clients, across a range of industries. IT skills are essential. So, you’ll need a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, computer science or a technology-related subject. However, if you have a real passion and flair for technology, as well as an understanding of how it can be used, we’ll also consider a maths, science or engineering Bachelor’s Degree.
Technology Architecture – As an Analyst, you’ll work on projects that develop our most technically complex and cutting-edge solutions, as well as collaborating with our delivery teams to ensure solutions are feasible and functional. This could mean defining technical requirements, developing technical architecture components, taking part in design and code reviews, or reviewing systems performance or test plans. Our Technology Architects have been at the forefront of new approaches to modern trends such as cloud, Big Data, internet of things and digital technologies. Successful applicants will need to have obtained/be predicted a 2.1 Bachelor’s Degree.
Information Security – As an Analyst, you’ll develop your expertise in information security, and use your business consulting acumen to work collaboratively with our clients to design, build and implement pragmatic security solutions. You will be helping our clients analyse the problem, working with technical partners such as Symantec, Oracle and HP, understanding the security architecture, and assist to implement and manage new security systems. We look for a relevant degree in cyber systems, software or information security, engineering or computer science. You’ll need to have or be expecting a minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s Degree (achieved or predicted).

A number of our programmes are open to those with a minimum 2:1 (achieved or predicted). Some programmes may require a degree in a relevant discipline.

Where you’ll work
You could be placed at any one of our offices in Edinburgh, London, Manchester or Newcastle, and may be delivering projects on client sites anywhere in the UK (and sometimes abroad), so you’ll need to be flexible.
