Internal Audit Analyst
After completing a 10 week internship in the Internal Audit department at AIG, I was offered a permanent graduate position. Choosing AIG to start my career was an easy decision as it was obvious during my internship that AIG really invests in junior talent (from training and opportunities to continuous monitoring) which I found incredibly beneficial as a young professional. Before starting our permanent roles, every graduate received 2-4 weeks of training in New York where we were shown a holistic view of the company and the insurance world. Furthermore, we were able to network with 260 individuals from all around the world and work on a wide range of projects together. Although I have only been working in the Internal Audit department permanently for a few weeks, I have already been given a lot of responsibility with audits and have had exposure to the various lines of business at AIG.
