An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Broughton site for an intern to join the A380 Wing Manufacturing team. The Broughton site assembles wings for the commercial family of Airbus aircraft prior to their delivery to the final assembly lines in Toulouse and Hamburg.

The double-deck A380 is the world's largest commercial aircraft flying today and is well known as the flagship of many airlines. The aircraft offers the lowest fuel burn, cost per seat and noise of any large aircraft in addition to the utilisation of the latest technology; hence providing superior range and performance.


This opportunity is available within the A380's 83,500m2 Wing assembly factory in North Wales. The successful candidate will be leading manufacturing improvement projects, assisting in complex investigations, all aspects of financial awareness and cost control, in addition to gaining real life operation experience within one of the world's most advanced aircraft manufacturing facilities. Ideally you will have an interest in the aviation industry with a motivation to work in an engineering and manufacturing environment.


You must be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement, studying towards a degree in Business or Engineering.
