Claims is a vast and vital part of our organisation. Our dedicated and friendly Claims team delivers on our promise by helping our customers when they need it most. We have an annual claims spend of nearly one billion pounds, so joining this scheme you’ll be making an incredibly important impact from day one.
You’ll develop a wide range of technical, commercial and leadership skills that are vital to your development and the business through industry-leading, hands-on training, by managing varied and challenging case-loads, as well as interacting with key external partners.
Part of your role will involve analysing and investigating claims and you will be given responsibility to make liability decisions and work out the best way to settle claims in the most cost-effective manner. To do this, you will work alongside solicitors, claims investigators, loss adjusters, engineers and many other experts to ensure that claims are investigated efficiently and the correct decision is made as quickly as possible.
During each placement you will also work on various projects, so that you will gain experience on technical and operational projects, and in addition study towards an external qualification of Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) with the Chartered Institute of Insurance.
Skills & Experience
You need to have achieved or be on target for achieving upper second class or above degree in any subject.
A valid work permit for permanent work in the UK is also required.
