Merchant Services is a dynamic and fast-paced division, focusing on helping tens of thousands of SMEs and entrepreneurs grow their business on Amazon’s Marketplace. In my role, I partner with third-party sellers to build their business both in the UK and around the world. Working alongside teams across Amazon, we give our sellers the tools they need to succeed, ensuring customers can find and buy anything on Amazon.
At Amazon, you’re given a lot of responsibility early on. I regularly conduct “deep dives” to analyse and solve different business issues and build reports to spot trends and identify key areas of growth. Stepping outside the office, I have visited Amazon fulfilment centres around the country to better understand our operational processes and how these contribute to the success of our sellers. With this knowledge I have a better grasp on how Amazon works, something vital to my role in growing our third party sellers and the number of products available on Amazon Marketplace.
Within Merchant Services, I've enjoyed collaborating with smart, customer focused and driven colleagues. It’s a division that really demands entrepreneurial flair and intellectual rigour to deal with its constant stream of challenges. I’ve really enjoyed my role too, because the responsibilities given to me have an impact on the business and our customers, something which is the most important thing.
