Account overview

Amey has successfully secured a number of new contracts in Scotland, and we are seeking to recruit civil engineering Graduates, to assist in the delivery of these exciting and challenging new projects. You will be tasked with delivering high-profile and ambitious programmes, guided by some of the most knowledgeable engineering experts in the UK.

You will be passionate about delivering engineering projects to the highest standards, while demonstrating strategic thinking, imagination and the ability to take on key responsibilities, when required.

We have opportunities in Amey’s Glasgow, Edinburgh and South Queensferry offices.

What will this role involve?

You'll be part of a team focused on delivering programmes of work designed to meet our client’s requirements. This includes:

  • Maintaining a close relationship with our client and delivery partners
  • Ensuring programmes are delivered to budget and within the required timeframes
  • Working effectively alongside colleagues and others to ensure programmes of work are successful
  • Producing an excellent body of work that meets or exceeds the client’s expectations

We are looking for innovative, forward thinking graduates who will help propel our business forward and become our future leaders. You’ll also have:

  • Minimum 2.2 degree in relevant subject (Civil Engineering, Traffic and Transportation Engineer, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering)
  • Available to join Amey in Summer 2018
  • Computer literate
  • Commitment to studying towards professional qualification
  • Strong analytical, written, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
