We provide digital advisory services that focus on working with clients on their digital strategy, the design of new services, systems and assets, and helping deliver working solutions along with the development of new analysis tools and other cloud-enabled digital services for clients.

Arup's Advanced Digital Engineering group comprises over 300 advanced engineering, digital and project consultants, bringing together a seamless combination of digital and data-related capabilities with Arup's traditional engineering and design strengths. We use this to solve our clients’ most complex challenges and help them respond effectively to the fast-changing digital world. What you’ll be doing

Your work will include designing and supporting client and collaborator workshops, as well as conducting user research, using tried and tested human-centred design processes (using aspects of ethnography, interviews, surveys, design probes and so on.) You will help turn original research into insights, and then core service design deliverables, such as service blueprints, user journeys and various forms of mapping. You will create sets of personas, drawn from demographic research, and co-create scenarios that identify practical yet opportunities for how digital services can support delivery, operations and customer experience. You will aid with prototyping and testing of potential products and services (at high level), mapping against identified opportunities, personas, and case studies.

The position will be based in London but you’ll be willing to travel to other offices (including international locations) and work there for short periods.
