Graduate (Protective Intelligence) Consultant

The role

Arup's Protective Intelligence specialists have advised on malicious risks to some of the world's leading buildings and infrastructure projects. Our Resilience, Security and Risk practice has consistently been at the forefront of the field since it was formed in the mid-1990s. The practice brings together threat and risk specialists, physical and electronic security engineers, strategic operational security specialists, business continuity practitioners and blast engineers in a unique multi-disciplinary environment, helping our clients manage malicious risk, natural hazards and operational reliability in each aspect of their businesses and operations.

Our Protective Intelligence team assess terrorism, civil unrest, crime and other malicious risks in the built environment worldwide. Actionable intelligence on threats has a vital role to play in informing the design of buildings, transport infrastructure, bridges and stadia. We work close with our teams in Blast Resilience and Security Engineering in North America, Australasia, Europe and the Middle East. Our intelligence enables businesses that construct and operate cities to become more resilient in an evolving threat environment.
