Pupils receive a 12-month funded pupillage with the emphasis upon developing their own practice from the start of their second six months. Our current policy is to pay £6,000 for the first six months of pupillage and to guarantee an income of £10,000 for the second six months of pupillage. Chambers’ funding policy and pupillage requirements are regularly reviewed and potential applicants should visit our website for the up-to-date position.
Efforts are made to cater for particular interests whilst ensuring that a good grounding is provided in all of those areas which will be covered by a busy junior practitioner. We have traditionally recruited our tenants from our pupils.
A good 2.1 degree is required.
Mini-pupillages are available between April and September. Applications for mini-pupillages should be made in January or February by writing to Julie Evans accompanied by a current CV.
Student visits and sponsored students are not accepted.
