Product Safety Engineering Graduate Programme

Our Product Safety Engineers work at the heart of our products. They are key figures throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that all products are safe and fit for purpose.

From torpedoes to nuclear submarine reactors - we make some truly complex and safety-critical products and Product Safety Engineers work at the heart of these.

Working at all stages of the product lifecycle, from identifying and analysing hazards to developing robust controls and safety procedures, you’ll play a pivotal role in the product development. Indeed, you’ll be a key figure through the entire project lifecycle, determining initial requirements, supporting functional prototypes, developing production standard solutions, and supporting the testing of finished product, it’ll be down to you to ensure these products are safe and fit for purpose.

As well as individual products, you’ll help us develop the comprehensive safety management systems for entire platforms. As a specialist in your field, you'll form an integral part of any Engineering team and essential to every product developed or supported by us.

Welcome to Product Safety in the real world.
