Making sure we have the right people in the right jobs at the right time is crucial to delivering on our customer commitments. Within HR you'll gain a wide range of skills and experience to help ensure our people can continue to carry out amazing work.
You'll develop business knowledge, behavioural competence and technical HR skills. You could find yourself managing the relationship between union represented employees and the business, delivering an employee engagement strategy to help attract, select and retain talented individuals to our organisation, or analysing HR information to inform key business decisions.
The spectrum of HR activities is diverse but are there to support our people and add real value to the business.
As a HR Graduate within BAE Systems Head Office, each of your placements will be within a different geographical location across the UK throughout the duration of the scheme. This will ensure you gain a breadth of experience across our many sites, projects and cultures, all of which will contribute to your portfolio of skills and experience.

What you’ll need
To join us on the GDF you must have a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor's degree in a subject related to your chosen area of work. Please refer to each role profile for specific details of preferred degrees.
We’ll also look for you to demonstrate exceptional problem solving and analytical skills and have the flexibility and resilience to thrive at BAE Systems
