Within our Marketing Communications department at BMW (UK) Ltd we have 6 internship vacancies available in a variety of areas, including but not limited to the following:
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
The successful intern will help the team in developing national CRM campaigns. These include direct marketing campaigns (both offline and online), national loyalty programmes and prospecting activity, model launches, model support activities and delivering new potential customer leads to the BMW Retailer network.
Key responsibilities include; national email campaigns, management of CRM activity at events e.g Goodwood Festival of Speed, supporting product launch activity, campaign reporting, supporting the production of the BMW Magazine and management and activations of partnerships within BMW UK.
Social Media & BMW I Communications
The intern within this team works with assigned creative and media agencies to assist in the delivery of national and retailer campaigns. They will have critical campaign responsibilities, from briefing hrough to post-campaign analysis. As well as being closely involved in model launches and announcements, events, retailer activations and the day to day management of both teams budgets.
The intern works in both Social Media and BMW I. They must be able to manage a variety of projects at one time, and work closely and successfully with other departments within the business as well as external agencies and partners.
The digital marketing intern will be required to work with other members of the marketing department and a number of marketing agencies to ensure that product content is published on time and accurately. They will need to review web pages and editorial content and have an understanding of the workings of more technical elements of the websites such as the car configurator.
The digital marketing intern will also be in charge of managing the digital team’s expenses and working with the finance department to ensure invoices are paid on time. On top of this, the position involves working on ad hoc projects for new website areas or new websites entirely. The successful candidate will have input on the creative and strategic direction of the BMW websites and will have the opportunity to meet representatives from high profile companies such as Google and Autotrader.
The Product Communications Team are responsible for supplying our BMW Retail Network with all the information and argumentation that they need to deliver a premium retail sales experience to customers.
Key responsibilities of the intern include; supporting the creation of communications materials in-line with product launches; supporting the management of BMW sales literature programme; operational support of budget processes, active participation in key projects, working with stakeholders across multiple business areas and working with key Marketing Agency partners.
