"Great facilities, fantastic restaurant, the offices are spacious and good quality. The only thing letting it down would be that it could do with slightly better changing room facilities (more space and hair dryers for those damp morning commutes!)."

"Dress code is a little more conservative than at other firms. I'd prefer a slight shift to more of a relaxed approach. The office is great though!"

"Beautiful offices that are light and airy, very professional and sleek. The canteen is a really nice social area to have lunch in."

"Our offices are of a very high standard and they are close to Bristol Temple Meads, which is great when commuting up to London. A wine bar has opened up in the building and we are a short walk to Cabot Circus."

"Lovely offices that are conveniently located with a great restaurant. Could do with more facilities (ie a gym) on-site."

"The offices are fantastic. Spacious, clean, a decent amount of natural light and well laid-out. The location is excellent for getting to Bristol Temple Meads. The dress code is comparatively informal. You have to wear a suit and tie when meeting a client but otherwise it's just business casual. Hardly anyone wears a tie around the office."

"Lots of space for work and taking a moment to relax. It's lovely to step outside at lunch and look over the waterfront too."

"Two people per office makes it private enough but also collaborative. We have great secretarial support but could do with more evening secretaries because we are working longer hours. The offices and catering are fantastic."

"We have excellent facilities and the standard of the firm's accommodation is excellent. Each office is spacious and shared between two people. The offices in general are well located; being close to the train station allows for an easy commute. The dress code is generally fairly relaxed (shirt and trousers for the guys) but it is stepped up if you go up to the client floor (suit and tie)."

"The firm has nice offices. Each trainee shares an office with their supervisor. Enforcement of the dress code varies by department."

"We have lovely offices in a central location. The dress code is just office-wear (with suits for client meetings)."

"Burges Salmon provides good facilities. My only complaint would be that the inside offices sometimes lack light as there are no windows to the outside, they simply look out over the other side of the offices (in a 'U' shape)."

"We moved into a new, eco-friendly office three years ago. The offices and facilities are fantastic."

"When not meeting clients/the other side the dress code is smart business casual (e.g. good quality formal cotton trousers/suit trousers and a shirt without a tie). When meeting clients you will be expected to dress more formally (e.g. suit and tie or equivalent). The offices are well designed and well laid out with a good staff canteen."

"The office is great and right next to the train station which is handy. The dress code is relatively relaxed for an office environment."

"The office is right behind the station. The offices are fantastic."
Second year trainee, Bristol
"We have excellent offices, it's a shame that the area is slightly lacking in shops/bars/cafés. It's in a recently developed part of town and not a lot else has sprung up (yet). Dress code is logical - it's fine to wear business casual in the office, but always have a jacket/suit to hand in case you're client facing."

"We have literally the best office I have ever seen."
First year trainee, Bristol
"Offices are great - big windows, generally light and bright, very smart. The dress code is conservative and businesslike, but there is a once-monthly 'dress down' day on a Friday."
Second year trainee, Bristol
"The firm's Bristol and London offices are excellent. The dress code is smart - suits for meetings but smart business the rest of the time."
Second year trainee, Bristol
"The firm's offices are new (within the last three or so years) and are fantastic. They are very smart and generally light. The downstairs area is very colourful and the canteen is great. The facilities are good - there is a car park for staff and an area for bikes to encourage those who cycle in."
First year trainee, Bristol
"The office itself is great - modern, airy and well laid out. The facilities are also good: on-site cafe and coffee bar, showers, lockers and changing facilities, large rooms available for seminars (and lunchtime yoga and pilates classes!), On site catering for client and staff meetings. The only small niggle is the location: it is in a developing part of the city next to the station and as a result there is very little nearby in the way of shops, gyms, bars, restaurants, etc."
