As an equal opportunity employer we value diversity at Caterpillar and we believe the more experience you can gain early in your career the further you can go. That’s why during our two year scheme we place a strong emphasis on six month rotations. Experiencing several engineering departments ranging from Engine Test to Computer Aided Engineering will hone your problem solving and analytical skills using tools such as Six Sigma. You will also have the opportunity to work and collaborate with people in Caterpillar facilities worldwide and we are looking for you to bring fresh, innovative ideas to solve complex technical problems. You will be a fully involved team member with responsibility and accountability for key project deliverables. That said, you will be given all the support you require to be successful.
We are an IMechE approved company and will provide you with a mentor who will support you throughout your Monitored Professional Development Scheme to gain Chartered or Incorporated Status. At the end of the scheme we find the best fit for you in one of our engineering teams with respect to business needs and where you will develop most as an engineer.
How to apply:
Applicants should be studying for a degree / PhD in Mechanical/Automotive/Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Materials/Motorsport/ Product Development Engineering or Physics, and have achieved or be on track to achieve at minimum of a 2:1.
