Global Supply Chain Graduate Development Scheme
Since its inception in 1925, Caterpillar has grown to be the world’s leading manufacturer of Construction and Mining Equipment and a leading global supplier of diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines.
Caterpillar leadership stems from its strong career development programs, flourishing worldwide presence, and unmatched technological expertise. Our values - integrity, excellence, teamwork, commitment and sustainability- are what guide us everywhere we operate and they are the cornerstones of our business success.
Supply Chain is at the heart of every business, and here is no exception. Think about the daily sourcing of materials from across the world, then think about how these parts are transported into a company, manufactured, and shipped out to customers within demanding lead-times. This is only a highlight of what it means to work in Supply Chain.
Working within our Supply Chain function means delivering a quality product to a satisfied customer - on time, over and over again. The department is therefore a highly important link between our teams involved in product development, production, and most importantly our customers.
We are looking to recruit two highly motivated and capable Graduates to join our Graduate Development Scheme. The scheme has been established for over 20 years and has an excellent track record for developing and retaining our talented graduates.
Lasting between 18 and 24 month in duration, the development scheme gives our graduates the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge as they move through different areas of the business. Rotations typically last 6 months and can span a range of teams within the Global Supply Chain organisation including Orders Management, Master Production Scheduling, Supplier Management, Logistics Engineering and Project Management.
This programme will give you the fundamentals of supply chain, with a view of becoming a specialist on your area.
