Graduate Customer Operations Programme

Duration: 2 years and 3 months

Location: UK-wide, flexibility required

Starting salary: £27,000 plus £3k starting bonus

Minimum requirements: 2:1 degree or Master’s (with 2:2 degree minimum)

As a Customer Operations graduate, you’ll take responsibility for looking after our customers and the employees who work with them. Our customer-facing employees make up the largest part of our UK workforce across recognisable brands such as British Gas, Dyno and Hive and you’ll be part of the leadership team that ensures we deliver world-class customer service. Your team will count on you to deliver when it matters: professional advice and development, leadership, support and a measure of inspiration.

Some of the most fundamental goals for our business – customer satisfaction, cost management and simplification and strategic direction – will fall within your remit. Accountability and ownership come quickly, as early in your experience you’ll take charge of projects to improve the way we do things. What you do each day will have measurable, high-profile results. Our Customer Operations Graduate Programme gives you the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of people across our operations, so you’ll be guaranteed to explore different parts of the UK during your time on the scheme. As a Customer Operations Graduate, you’ll have the opportunity to directly manage and lead a team of people on the programme; a fantastic development opportunity so early on in your career.

The programme offers a unique breadth of experience. Naturally, the core part of your development programme is based around this experience, and you’ll also have the support of a mentor and graduate network. What’s more, you’ll get exposure to senior leaders and attend relevant courses, training and development days. And, once you’ve finished the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to study for a related professional qualification with the support of our Talent Board. All of which will set you up to become one of our future operational leaders.
