How would you maximise the potential of our people?

Could you meet the growing strategic challenges we face and ensure we continue to be recognised as a ‘Great Place to Work’? We’re looking for genuine innovators to meet these challenges; people with the drive to become our HR leaders of the future.

Our people aren’t all made from the same mould, and as a graduate on the HR Programme, you’ll get to know that better than most as you play a significant role in developing, supporting and shaping our people to meet the future challenges of our business. To achieve this, we’re recruiting exceptional and creative individuals who can step up to these diverse challenges with drive and ambition, and who have the passion and commitment to deliver excellence within our organisation.

In return, we’ll put you through a structured development programme that will give you the opportunity to experience a number of HR disciplines:

  • Strategic HR business partnering
  • Talent management and succession planning
  • Learning and development
  • Resourcing strategy and projects
  • Transformation and Change
  • Reward and recognition
  • Employee engagement
  • Employee relations

As an HR graduate, you’ll build up your portfolio of HR skills through a breadth of experiences and your professional development will be supported by our HR Talent Board. You’ll have opportunities to raise your profile with our HR Directors, Business Leaders and colleagues – and starting in your second year we’ll support you towards gaining your CIPD qualification.

What’s more, you’ll be a part of our wider graduate community, so you’ll quickly develop the knowledge of our business and key relationships you need to progress.

Having completed the development programme, you’ll have a wide-ranging understanding and experience of how a first-class HR function operates, paving the way for you to deliver change as an innovative strategic HR professional of the future. You’ll also need to be flexible to relocating to other parts of the country to take advantage of the opportunities our vast business has to offer.

Deadline for applications: 4 January 2017 (subject to change, please apply early to avoid disappointment).
