Alliances Business Role 2017 Start

The role

Our alliance partners are important to CGI to support our existing clients and grow our new prospects. By aligning and agreeing a clear joint approach to clients, we can offer a collaborative solution to the client that builds on our partner’s technology and our skilled services. This approach can also assist our joint position against the competition and demonstrate our strong relationship with the key vendors. Our Alliance relationships are focused on supporting the CGI teams to drive sales results.

The Alliance Business Graduate or Industrial Placement Student will report to the Director of Alliances and work with a number of defined strategic alliance partners to support the UK Alliance team plans. The role will be key to the increase of our recognised resell and influence revenue through joint client engagement based on initiatives.

There is a structured pipeline report reviewed weekly and this role will assist to drive this across the partnerships and internal CGI teams to improve accuracy and subsequent recognition. This will directly impact revenue and investment.

Another element of the role is to ensure CGI is represented accurately within the strategic partner programs, through our skills and references. The role will be responsible for maintaining CGI’s profile within Microsoft Partner Portal and Programs

You will start at CGI on a Student Recruitment specific induction. The Student Recruitment and Learning & Development teams will support you during your first couple of years with CGI before you move on to the experiences members training opportunities. Our requirements

Our Alliances graduate or placement student will have studied any degree discipline. If you come from a computer science or STEM background that would be an advantage. Applicants from other degree disciplines are very welcome will need to demonstrate their knowledge and interested in the world of Technology. We will consider students working towards a minimum of a 2:1.
