"My usual hours are 7.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. However, I am required to work some Saturday mornings, 9.00 am to 12.00 pm, usually every third week. I am supposed to get a half-hour lunch break but I usually work through this and eat at my desk as the demand is so high that we need the whole team serving on most days. However, this hard work is rewarded and my employer is happy for me to finish an hour early if I have something urgent to do. It's give and take, which I think is fair and a great way to motivate staff."Graduate, Edinburgh
"I work around 50 to 55 hours a week without lunch. There can be flexibility but it's still a long day."Graduate, Winchester/Eastleigh/Southampton
"The company does consider that everyone has a home life and that it can sometimes cross into the working day. As such, there is flexibility and people try to work around any given situation. The expected hours are 8.00 am until 5.30 pm. If you want to go the extra mile then that is up to you. At busy times my day can be 7.00 am until 5.30 pm but this is not pushed by the branch."Graduate, Redditch
"7.30 am to 5.30 pm and some Saturdays 8.30 am to 12.00 pm. If you have something planned for the Saturday you are due to work you can notify the branch manager and it is taken into account."Graduate, Bristol Group
