About The Role
Members truly are at the heart of our business and our Quality and Continuous Improvement Graduate Programme is a fantastic opportunity to work in teams that have a direct impact on how we serve them. As part of the programme you’ll help support and implement changes that affect our branches and mortgage distribution channels. The projects you’ll be working on will fundamentally alter the way in which we interact with our members and improve the service we provide, such as our Branch redesign and new core banking system programmes. These changes will affect almost all areas of our business and you’ll need to be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders so we can achieve the best possible outcome for our members and the business alike.
Over the duration of the two year programme you’ll spend time working alongside people responsible for ensuring we conduct ourselves is the right way and are able to comply with regulatory requirements. Through analysis and interpretation of these regulations you’ll also help us define our strategy within a number of member facing environments, mitigating risks and making sure our people have the right level of knowledge and skills to deal with member enquiries and complaints in the best possible way.

About The Company
It’s an exciting time to join Coventry Building Society as a Graduate. We’re undertaking a number of large changes that will affect all areas of our business. From redesigning our Branches to implementing a new core banking system, being part of our Graduate Programme will enable you to be at the heart of the areas closely linked to these projects. The changes we’re making will only serve to enhance the experience we provide to our members and you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring we exceed their expectations and continue to deliver an award winning service.
Our Graduate Programme provides insight into the wider business through dedicated sessions that demonstrate how each function contributes to our success. You’ll also complete placements in areas that deal directly with our members to help you understand the importance we place on Members First. In addition to the business knowledge you gain, we’ll support you in developing other skills such as stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation delivery. You’ll attend development days and take on both individual and group projects that allow you to network and build strong relationships across the Society.
