"While I have one criticism in that I feel that there is not that much formal training, I am sure that HR are taking this on board. The Corporate department has regular training seminars, although these are pitched at fairly senior lawyers. Generally, however, the quality of work is fantastic - especially as you move through your training contract. I have had significant responsibility for research, analysis and drafting with plenty of feedback and supervision."First year trainee, London
"I have picked up a lot of skills when it comes to client contact, interpersonal skills and dealing with difficult clients. I have learnt a lot about the legal aspects that permeate the life sciences sector."First year trainee, London
"Personally, I think that the firm could provide more formal training."Second year trainee, London
"We get regular presentations in the corporate group. There are not as many in other departments."First year trainee, London
"There are plenty of introductory sessions teaching trainees how to navigate the firm's systems. Most departments run training (informal or more formal) for trainees. Most of my skills have been picked up honed through practise and getting the opportunity to use them."First year trainee, London
"Each practice group has weekly/fortnightly training updates on the latest developments. External PSC courses are booked by the firm for each trainee. There are also seminars for legal writing."First year trainee, London
"We get regular department training sessions in corporate, dispute resolution and regulatory."First year trainee, London
