"We get excellent remuneration."

"We're still competitive compared to other firms."

"It's frustrating that employees in our firm's other offices are paid more for doing the same job."

"The trainee and NQ salary is competitive with other US/City firms."
First year trainee, London
"I feel that pay is probably starting to lag behind market rates, but it is still good. Bonuses don't exist for trainees and associate bonuses, from what I hear, do not seem to justify the number of billable hours required to be awarded one. That said, associate pay recently increased which is encouraging."
First year trainee, London
"Trainees don't qualify for bonuses at the firm, but I have nothing to complain about with regard to salary, as it is at the top end of the market for trainees."
Second year trainee, London

"Trainee and NQ salaries are very generous, although they haven't been increased for some time, meaning they are not as near the top of the market as they once were. Still well above average, however."
First year trainee, London
"Trainee pay is in line with comparable firms."

"Pay is reasonable though trainees do not get bonuses."
First year trainee, London
"Trainees are not entitled to bonuses irrespective of the number of hours you have worked. From discussions I have had with colleagues and peers, this firm has a very high number of target hours compared to other firms in order to be entitled to a bonus. The pay as a trainee is definitely market rate or even better than many UK-based firms. The pay as an NQ is also sizeable."
